Completing the Onboarding Wizard

The onboarding wizard guides you through the essential setup steps so your loyalty program is ready to launch. You can complete it in under 10 minutes.

Step 1: Enter Your Website (Optional)

If you have a website, enter the URL. Cockato will automatically extract:

• Logo — Detected from your site's favicon or meta tags
• Brand Colors — Primary and secondary colors from your site's design
• Business Name — Confirmed from your site content

💡 Tip: Entering your website URL saves significant time by auto-detecting your brand identity. You can always adjust the results manually in the next step.

If you don't have a website, click Skip to set up branding manually.

Step 2: Set Your Branding

Upload or confirm your business logo and choose your brand colors:

If you entered a website in Step 1, your logo and colors will be pre-filled. Adjust them if the auto-detection wasn't perfect.

Step 3: Preview Your Wallet Pass

See a live preview of how your digital loyalty cards will look on both platforms:

• Apple Wallet — iOS card layout with your branding
• Google Wallet — Android card layout with your branding

Toggle between platforms to verify your colors and logo look great on both. The preview updates in real-time as you make changes.

📝 Note: You can fully customize your wallet pass design later from the Wallet Designer page. The onboarding preview uses your brand colors as a starting point.

Step 4: Select Your Country

Choose your business's country. This determines:

• Default currency for your points program (e.g., USD, AUD, EUR)
• Phone number formatting for customer registrations
• Localized pricing for subscription plans

Step 5: Choose Your Plan

Select the subscription plan that fits your business:

You can start with the free tier and upgrade anytime. No credit card is required to begin.

Step 6: Complete Setup

Click Complete Setup to finalize your onboarding. You'll be taken to your dashboard where you can:

1. Configure your rewards program (points and/or punch cards)
2. Create your QR signup poster
3. Invite team members
4. Start enrolling customers

After Onboarding

The dashboard displays a Setup Wizard with remaining steps to complete your loyalty program:

• ✅ Create organization (done during onboarding)
• ⬜ Configure rewards
• ⬜ Design wallet pass
• ⬜ Create QR poster
• ⬜ Invite team members

Complete these steps at your own pace — each links directly to the relevant settings page.

Can I Redo Onboarding?

The onboarding wizard runs once, but every setting it configures can be changed later:

Can I skip the onboarding wizard? You can skip optional steps like the website URL, but the wizard must be completed to access your dashboard.

How long does onboarding take? Most users complete it in 5–10 minutes. Website auto-detection makes it even faster.

What if the brand extraction got my colors wrong? No problem — adjust them manually in Step 2. You can also change them anytime from Organization Settings.
