Understanding Your Dashboard

The Cockato dashboard is your command center for managing your loyalty program. It provides real-time insights, quick actions, and guided setup to get the most from your account.

Dashboard Stats

At the top of your dashboard, four key metrics provide an at-a-glance overview:

MetricWhat It Shows
Total CustomersCustomers enrolled in your loyalty program
Active Wallet PassesCustomers who added your card to Apple or Google Wallet
Points Issued TodayTotal points awarded across all outlets today
Pending ClaimsSelf-service claims awaiting staff review

💡 Tip: Monitor the ratio of Total Customers to Active Wallet Passes. A low ratio means customers are signing up but not installing the wallet pass — consider improving your signup flow or wallet design.

Quick Actions

The Quick Actions section provides one-click access to your most common tasks:

  • Scan Customer — Opens the barcode scanner to look up a customer at checkout
  • Add Points — Manually award points to a customer by name or email
  • View Customers — Jump to the full customer management page

These actions are optimized for the staff checkout workflow, making day-to-day operations faster.

Setup Wizard

If your rewards program hasn't been fully configured, the dashboard displays a setup wizard with clear progress indicators:

  1. Create organization — Name and slug ✓
  2. Configure rewards — Points and/or punch cards
  3. Design wallet pass — Colors, logo, and strip image
  4. Create signup poster — QR code for in-store signups
  5. Invite team members — Add staff for checkout operations

Each step links directly to the relevant settings page. The wizard disappears once all steps are complete.

📝 Note: You can use Cockato without completing every setup step, but completing them all ensures the best experience for your customers.

How It Works

A visual guide on your dashboard shows how your loyalty program works from the customer's perspective:

  1. Customer scans QR code at your store
  2. Fills out the signup form with name and email
  3. Adds the loyalty card to their Apple or Google Wallet
  4. Earns points or punches on every visit
  5. Redeems rewards when they reach the threshold

This guide helps you understand and explain the customer journey to your team.

Polish Your Program

The "Polish Your Program" section surfaces actionable suggestions for improving your loyalty program:

  • Design your wallet pass — Customize colors and branding
  • Create a QR poster — Generate a scannable signup poster for your store
  • Enable self-service — Let customers submit their own claims
  • Configure welcome offers — Incentivize signups with instant rewards
  • Set up proximity notifications — Engage customers when they're near your store

Suggestions are prioritized based on what you haven't configured yet.

Multi-Outlet Dashboard

If you have multiple outlets, the dashboard shows aggregated stats across all locations. Use the Outlet Switcher in the sidebar to filter data by specific outlet.

💡 Tip: Staff members assigned to specific outlets only see data for their assigned locations, while owners and admins see everything.
